Green, not mean
This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get Core Membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get Core Membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I'm not 'new' to deviantart in never having used it before, it's just that didn't have an account before. I"m going to be adding to my favorites all the many works that I have favorited on my browser's favorites (no wonder my favorites bar covers my screen). You'll see that I'm into various types of art that can get a bit... odd, from pokemon and Team Fortress to TF/TG to... (sigh) ponies. I suppose everyone likes some things that they wouldn't really want to show everybody, but that's just what it is. So I like art that conservatives would call "weird"; is that a problem?
I wish I could tell you that I have artistic talent, but I really don't. I can draw structures, and vehicles reasonably well, but I couldn't draw a living thing for my life. Even trees come out slopy. Lack of practice perhaps? For now it looks like I'll just be favoriting everything that fancies me, and letting you all know how I feel about your art.
Hope all you east-coasters are doing well after that miserable storm we had here in the tristate area, and you're all ready for what looks to be a rather cold winter.
Now to figure out about comissioning... I could really use an icon.
